Hey ho everyone. I have been a busy girl, working away on some classes and some DT layouts, but still found time to sneak a LO in just for me. I have had a bee in my bonnet about doing a LO using fabric ever since I picked up a beautiful fabric flower embellie from my local scrap store Scrapbooks From The Heart. Ta dah! Here is what I created!
These are the out-takes of the photos I tried to get my naughty girls to pose for on Mother's Day this year...trying for a wistful feel and all they gave me was giggles.
The little dragonfly is one of my polymer clay creations...You like?
The key charm and circle pendant charm are both from Tracy's My 2 Angels web based store...( linky linky).
The background is green satin and coffee coloured organza, with a little rope of tiny weeny faux pearl wrapped around it. The fuzzy stuff is the leftover threads from the green satin where I have frayed the edges.

HI Debi! This LO is deceptive. The material is actually strips approx 3 inches wide, draped around the outside of the cardstock, with the centre of the LO fabric free. I ran a quick machine tack stitch just through the centre of the fabric to keep it in place. The photos are layered so you can't see the edge of the fabric underneath and they are stuck onto the cardstock not fabric so they won't budge. The green floating threads are stuck onto tacky glue. Staples are another good thing for sticking down fabric and tuelle - that's what I use cause I am too lazy to get the machine out LOL
