Love You Always...

Love you always... a layout of my gorgeous teen daughter.
When Tracy at My 2 Angels said this month was black and white with a hint of one other colour I panicked. I really did. I tend to scrap like a rainbow has wandered across the page most times so this month was a real challenge for me. Thank goodness she left the door open with the 'hint of colour'...so I took artistic license with the hint of colour and out popped this one...
Love you always...
This is my eldest daughter. She's a curious mix of feminine and attitude, gentle yet determined, quiet yet popular. And of course we love her dearly.

I handcut the title out of Rusty Pickle Popstars Miley paper. The frill border and the hearts were also cut from this paper, then I used the reverse heart side as a black mat (the large dotty heart is from the middle of the paper, and the hole is hidden under the photo and mat). The hand cut page elements were highlighted with red marker pen and dimensional magic. I did some black and white doodling around the edge of the red coredinations cardstock to keep in with the hand drawn theme of the Rusty Pickle paper. I tied lots of little ribbon pieces in the centre of the black flower ribbon slide and finished off the fabric feel on this with gorgeous Buzz and Bloom black corduroy clouds.

Materials Used:
products used: dimensional magic, black and white gel pens, red marker pen, fiskars apron lace border punch.

Nothing like a wee splash of red to add a dash of warmth to winter, eh?
Speaking of adding a little warmth to winter..oooh ahhh Mark LeCras kicking 12 goals for the West Coast Eagles this weekend...yeah baby!!!
